I am a teacher / translator
I am originally from Montréal, Québec, Canada.
I moved to Prato, Italy in 2001 where I still live. Since 2003, I have been teaching English as a foreign language.
I was one of the founding members of the non-profit association called i-english - Association of Independent English Teachers. The association was in operation from 2009 to 2019.
Before arriving and for some time after I was also a practicing lawyer, member of the Quebec Bar Association. In addition to the practice of the legal profession, I sporadically taught administration and law starting in 1978.
I have a Master's degree in Labour and Social Law from the University of Québec at Montréal. (UQAM) in 2000.
In 1983 I obtained a license to practice law from the Bar of Québec.
In 1982 I graduated with a Bachelor of Law from UQAM.
My teaching experience, as well as my previous practice in Canada, have contributed significantly to my profession as a translator. In Québec, I often translated various documents from French to English and vice versa. Since 2003, I have also been working as a translator for documents from Italian to English or French.
